About Us


Aviation Compliance, LLC. was founded in 2006, by Lloyd Cook and Brian Cook to provide regulation compliance services to aircraft operators and repair stations.

Lloyd has sixteen years experience as an Aviation Safety Inspector (ASI) (retired), Airworthiness (Avionics). He has been working in aviation since 1966. Prior to becoming an ASI, he worked as an avionics and avionics lead technician. He holds a private pilot certificate and has a Bachelors degree in Business Management.

As an ASI, Lloyd performed certifications and audits of CFR145 repair stations and CFR135, CFR125, and CFR121 Operators. He was the Principal Avionics Inspector for numerous CFR145 repair stations and several air operators (CFR135, CFR121 and CFR125). Since retiring from the FAA, Lloyd has worked for repair stations and air operators as a consultant, auditor and manual writer.

Brian holds private pilot and airframe and powerplant airman certificates. He has worked in aviation since 1994 as an A&P mechanic, production flight-test mechanic and technical writer. Additional experience includes; quality-monitoring audits for a large repair station and RVSM manual development, operations approvals and consulting. Brian has a Bachelors degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

As a technical writer for a major business jet manufacturer, Brian wrote service bulletins. He determined the process necessary to modify delivered aircraft with current production upgrades, developed step-by-step instructions, required functional tests and supporting illustrations. When development was complete, he obtained DER and customer service approval.

In addition, Brian also served on the company wide fleet dispatch and customer issue resolution team for his assigned model. He also chaired a service bulletin process improvement team, was a six sigma team member and served on the technical publications writing style committee and contributed to the word committee.
